Funeral services for Mrs. Bertmence Lanclos, the former Celestine
Hebert, 83, (time and date pending) in Our Lady Queen of Angels Catholic
Church in Opelousas with burial in Bellevue Memorial Park.
Mrs. Lanclos, a resident of Opelousas, died at 1:15 a.m. today in Prompt
Succor Nursing Home.
Survivors include her husband, Bertmence Lanclos of Opelousas; a son,
Joseph Huey Lanclos of Opelousas; a daughter, Mrs. Charles (Etheline)
Meche of Opelousas; four brothers, J.B. Hebert of Lafayette, Joseph and
Zoder Hebert, both of Opelousas; four sisters, Mrs. Evans (Melanie)
Edmond of Opelousas, Mrs. Clothilde Edmond of Leonville, Mrs. Charles
(Theresa) Gorney and Mrs. Burl Fitzgerald, both of Lafayette; 13
grandchildren, and 24 great-grandchildren.
