Helen M. Braun, 78, 403 E. 19th, died Saturday, Oct. 6, at St. John's Rest Home, Victoria. She was born Aug. 9, 1906 to John F. and Ann Marie (VonFeldt) Brungardt.

She married Frank J. Braun on Feb. 18, 1930 in Victoria.

She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, the Daughters of Isabella and the Eagles Auxiliary.

Survivors include her husband of the home; three sons, Marvin F. Braun and Robert J. Braun, both of Hays, and Francis F. Braun, McCracken; two daughters, LaVerna Younger and Helen Werth, both of Hays; four sisters, Mary A. Bell, Topeka, Ada Lang and Emma Ubert, both of Hays, and Sister Lioba Marie Brungardt, Concordia; 27 grandchildren. and 21 great-grandchildren.

Services were at 10 a.m. Monday in the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Fathers Albert Dwyer, Felix Petrovsky and Fidelis McManus officiated; burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery.
