He was survived by his wife of 52 years, Inez Jewel Parker Buchan; one son, Wayne Tolbert Buchan; one daughter, Lottie Rayborn; one brother, Ezra Frelton Buchan, all of Crowville; one sister, Ethelle Pierce of Winnsboro; and 4 grandchildren.
