Married Grace Elizabeth Beebe, 19 Aug 1886, St. David, Cochise, Arizona. They were sealed in the Logan Temple on October 16, 1886.

KAYSVILLE, Davis County — Thomas Edwin Williams. 88. of 194 North Second East, Kaysville. died yesterday at nine-five p. in. at the family residence after a short illness. Mr. Williams was born in Kaysville Dec. 13. 1864. a son of Ebenezer and Ada Evans Williams. He received his education in Davis county and graduated from University of Utah in 1884. In 1884 he moved to Safford, Ariz., to teach school where he remained until 1900. While in Safford he met Grace E. Beebe. They were married in St. Davis, Ariz., Aug. :19, 1886. In October, 1888, they received their endowments in the L. D. S. Logan temple. She died five years ago. He was a member of the L. D. S. church and was a high priest at time of death. He served a special mission from 1899 to 1900 organizing the first M. I. A. organization in northern Utah. He served as choir leader and drama leader in Arizona and Syracuse for many years. When the Davis stake was divided, he was a stake superintendent from 1915 to 1928. • He was later elected the first school board member from Syracuse and helped consoliated the Davis school district. He became clerk of the Davis county board of education in 1915 and served until 1943. He served as mayor of Kaysville city 1928 to 1929, and was a member of the city council for several years. Surviving are three sons. Lionel' E. Williams, Syracuse; Paul H. Williams, Kaysville, and Howard W. Williams. Downey, Calif.: three sisters, Mrs. Gladys Rentmeister, Mrs. E. Von (Thelma) Sanders and Zena Williams. Kaysville; 18 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren; three brothers. Frank and Orton Williams. Kaysville. and Fred B. Williams. Salt Lake City, and two sisters, Mrs. Joseph B. Jarman. Kaysville. and Mrs. Mabel Mattson. Ogden. Services will be conducted Thursday at one p. m. in the L. D. S. Kaysvillf Second ward chapel by Bishop G. LaVerl Stewart of Kaysville Third ward, Friends may call at the family residence tomorrow after four p. m. and Thursday until twelve-thirty p. m. Interment will be in Kaysville-Layton Memorial Park, directed by the mortuary, 3408 Washington, Ogden.
