Obituary:
Betty Dunford Sawyers, 74, of Pulaski, died Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013 in LewisGale Hospital-Pulaski. She was born in Virginia Feb. 28, 1938 and was the daughter of the late Isaac and Margaret Eller Dunford. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Garfield Sawyers, and a daughter, Wanda Mills.
Ms. Sawyers was a retired employee of Pulaski Furniture Corp.
She is survived by a daughter, Linda Barrett; sister, Lucy Keith; brother, Johnny Dunford; grandchildren, Kylene Barrett, Brian Barrett and Chad Mills, and one great-grandson, Kaden McCambridge.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2 p.m. from the Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Don Sizemore officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. Visiting was held Monday evening at Stevens Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m. Arrangements by Stevens Funeral Home, Pulaski.
