Ethel Bretches had four husbands: 1st: Richard Morgan who she met in the Norton Tuberculosis Sanitarium in Norton,Kansas. at the age of fifteen. She and Richard eloped and got married. Richard died of tuberculosis shorty afterwards. - 2. Ethel came to Kansas City to be with family and met Kirby Morgan through her sister, who was married to Kirby's brother. Richard Morgan was not related to Kirby and Brain Morgan. They were married several years and had two daughters and were divorced. 3rd husband was Clarence O'nan. They were married twice and divorced twice. They had one daughter. 4th husband was Virgil Marsh and that marriage ended in divorced.
