Mrs. Louise DeChaine, Crow Wing township centenarian, died this morning at 3:30 a. m. at the home of her son, Ed Dechaine, Crow Wing township, at the age of 103 years and 11 months.
Mrs. DeChaine was born May 8, 1839, at St. Paulin, Province of Quebec, Canada. She came to the United States in 1881 and has been a resident of Crow Wing township for 60 years.
Her husband, Antonine [sic], preceded her in death 28 years ago.
Surviving her are four sons, Ed. Fred, Peter and Paul, all of Brainerd; and two daughters, Mrs. Lydia Gildart and Mrs. Frank Branchaud, also of Brainerd.
The funeral services will be held at St. Francis Catholic church at 9 a. m. Wednesday. Father Thomas Scott will officiate and interment will be in Evergreen cemetery.
