Mrs. Lydia Gildart, 91, a resident of Brainerd for 65 years prior to 1948, died in Minneapolis Saturday. She was born June 5, 1864, in Quebec, Canada, and had lived at 2814 Eleventh avenue South in Minneapolis for the past seven years. Mrs. Gildart is survived by seven daughters, Mrs. William Thompson, Tacoma, Wash., Mrs. Mary Hoffbauer, Brainerd, Mrs. Ruby Gildart, Minneapolis, Mrs. Alice Nelson, Superior, Wis., Mrs Walter Anderson, St. Paul, Mrs. Francis Smith, St. Paul, and Mrs. Georgia Ellenson, Minneapolis; two sons, William, Tacoma, and Wilbert, Brainerd; a sister, Mrs Ellen Branchaud, Brainerd; three brothers, Fred, Paul and Peter DeChaine, all of Brainerd; 20 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10 a. m. Wednesday at the St. Francis Catholic church, with the Rev. Thomas Scott officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen cemetery. Friends may call at the Hoenig Funeral home from 10 a. m. until 10 p. m. Tuesday. The St. Francis Guild Rosary will be said at 3 p. m. Tuesday and the Parish Rosary will be said at 8:30 p. m. Tuesday.
