Mary Alma Kizer Williams, 90 years of age, of Monroe, NC passed away Saturday, February 8, 2014 at Hospice of Union County in Monroe.

Alma was born January 4, 1924 in Cabarrus County, NC to the late William Rufus Kizer and the late Sarah Annie Faulk Kizer.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Troy Webster Williams; son, Richard Eaphram Williams; five brothers; and one sister.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Monday, February 10, 2014 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland. The graveside service will be on Tuesday at 11:00 am at Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery, 420 Hopewell Church Rd. in Monroe, with Rev. Gene Hopkins officiating the service.

At other times the family will be gathering at her son Ronald's home, 1520 Hwy 218 East in Monroe.

She is survived by her son, Ronald Wayne Williams and wife Becky of Monroe; four grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and three great great granddaughters.

Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Union County, 700 West Roosevelt Blvd., Monroe, NC 28110.
