Daughter of John & Ellen McMullen Williams, she married Marshall Adams. lived at RD 1 Polk, died there of pneumonia, per death certificate 66026, whose informant was Arthur C. Adams of Polk. Buried Jul 26 1933.

Franklin News-Herald, Tuesday, Jul 25 1933:
Mrs. Ida May Adams, 66, died Monday morning at 10:25 at the family home near Polk after an illness of five years. Her condition did not become serious until last Thursday when a severe lung congestion produced conditions from which she did not rally. She was the daughter of John and Ellen McMullen Williams, born in Polk January 1, 1867.

Her parents lived in Polk for many years and she attended schools there. She was a lifelong member of the Methodist Episcopal Church at Polk, and was highly esteemed by friends as an exemplary Christian woman and church member.

On Dec. 21, 1882, she married Marshall Adams, and to them were born nine children. Surviving are her husband; children, Mrs. Katherine Casle, Miss Olive L. Adams, Clarence J. Adams, Arthur C. Adams, Mrs. Herman Barnes, and Lester E. Adams, all of Polk, and Mrs. Dalton C. White of Rocky Grove; 14 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three sisters and a brother, Mrs. Emma Harry, Mrs. A. B. Wilt and Frank H. Williams of Franklin, and Mrs. William Robinson of Grove City.

Services will be at the residence at 2 o'clock Wednesday. Interment will be in the Sandycreek Cemetery.
