FLORA HEMBREE FORTNER Flora Hembree Fortner, 87, of Clarkston, GA died Saturday, January 27, 2007 at New London Health Center in Snellville, GA. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond W. Fortner, who died in 1994, and a son, Donald Ray Fortner, and several brothers and sisters. Mrs. Fortner is survived by two daughters, Evelyn Ware and husband Earl of Murphy, NC, and Sherry Fortner of Gainesville, GA; three sons, Larry Fortner and wife Sandy of Stone Mountain, GA; Randall Fortner and wife Norma of Dawsonville, GA and Douglas Fortner of Jackson, GA; twelve grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 30th at Forrest Hills Baptist Church in Stone Mountain with the Rev. Mark Bishop officiating. Interment Melwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Monday, January 29th at A. S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home. Grandsons and great grandsons will serve as pallbearers. A. S. Turner & Sons.
