Thomas I. (Tom) Hembree

Mr. Thomas I. (Tom) Hembree of Scottdale died Friday, April 30, 2004. He served for many years as a minister in various churches. He is survived by his wife, Myrtice J. Hembree of Scottdale, GA; sons and daughters-in-law, Phillip and Brenda Hembree of Senoia, GA, Mike and Beth Hembree of Norcross, GA, Dennis and Lynn Hembree of Oxford, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Loretta Cohen of Tampa, FL, Janice and Jeff Spears of McDonough, GA, Linda and Bobby Hubbard of McDonough, GA; sisters, Flora Fortner of Clarkston, GA; Lily Scroggins of Cumming, GA; nineteen grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, May 3, 2004 with Rev. John Colbaugh and Rev. L.E. Smith officiating. Interment will be in Melwood Cemetery. The remains will lie in state at the church from 1 PM until the funeral hour. The family will receive friends from 2 to 9 PM Sunday at A. S. Turner and Sons.
