at 7:10 Friday, August 16, at the
Wabash General hospital in Mt. Carmel
where he had been admitted on August
12. He had been a resident of
Shurtlff# Manor Nursing Home in Mt.
Carmel since March 6, 1985.
Services were held Monday, August
19, at Nales Funeral Home in Albion
with the Rev. Anael Atwood officiating.
Burial was in the Browns Cemetery.
He was born September 27, 1895,
in Edwards County, the son of Thomas
and Laura (Rogramel) Broster. He
married Welcome Rude on November 29,
1917. She died November 10, 1983.
Survivors include two sons, Bert of
Mt. Carmel and Gerald of Bellmont;
one daughter, Mrs. Owen (Betty) Ewing,
Browns, five grandchildren and five
great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife,
one son, Kenneth, Jr., one grandson,
Steven Kenneth and four brothers.
