He is survived by his daughters, Carolyn Collins of Canton; Brenda Bramlett of Cypress, TX; and Barbara Oldham of Ridgeland. He leaves behind 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, with another on the way.
Mr. Screws was born in Yazoo County. He lived many places in his career. He retired from Illinois Central Railroad after 40 years of service. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and fought in World War II in the Pacific.
The family expresses their deepest gratitude to Highland Home, Pax Hospice, and their daddy's caregivers Ms. Ethel and Ms. Stacy.
