She was born May 25, 1948, in Ottumwa to Thomas and Pauline Rupe Stice. She married Roy Roberts on June 4, 1984 in Ottumwa.
A resident of Ottumwa all her life, she had been an employee of Ottumwa Hospital, St. Joseph Hospital, Wausau Homes and Universal Rundle. She was secretary of Bowling Belles and 600 Club.
She is survived by her husband, a son, Scott Van Winkle of Bloomington, Minn.; a step-son, Travis Roberts of Ottumwa; her mother of Ottumwa; two sisters, Sue Greer and Linda Skinner of Ottumwa; and three brothers Frank Stice of Cheyenne, Wyo., David Stice of Unionville and John Stice of Ottumwa.
She was preceded in death by her father.
The service will be 2 p.m. TUesday at Reece Funeral Home in Ottumwa, the Rev. Harold Gilleney of Plymouth Congregational Church officiating. BUrial will be in Shaul Cemetery.
Visitation will begin after 1 p.m. today at the funeral home. Family visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. The casket will remain closed.
Pallbearers will be Leo Lehman, Phil Myers, Dean Palmer, Ron Simpson, Otto Ammenhauser and Jack Bennett.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Wapello County, 312 E. Alta Vista, Ottumwa.
