Toccoa, GA -- Mrs. Ethel Purcell Clark, 93, of west Doyle Street, widow of Elmer Clark, died July 18, 1989, in a local hospital.
Born in Stephens County, she was a daughter of the late Anderson and Mary Kesler Purcell. Mrs. Purcell was a retired Salesperson with a local dress shop for a long number of years. She was a member of the first United Methodist Church of Toccoa, where she was a member of The Emma Vickery Sunday School Class and a member of the United Methodist Women.
Surviving are sister, Mrs. Sue Tuck of Atlanta; four grandchildren.
Services at 2 p.m. Thursday at The First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Claude Smithmier and the Rev. Jack Lamb. Burial in Toccoa City Cemetery.
