FORMER CITIZENS DIES AT TOPEKA, KANSAS, SHAWNEE COUNTY
ALEXANDER CRONE FOUND DEAD IN HIS ROOM

Dead Two Days Before Discovery Was Made—Resided in Michigan Township for Years.
Hezekiah Cohee, sr., received a letter Saturday evening which conveyed the news of the death of his brother-in-law, Alexander Crone, a former well known resident of this county. Mr. Crone died at Topeka, Kansas, alone in his room and had been a corpse two days before the discovery of his demise was made. His failure to appear as usual for a couple of days led to an investigation and his dead body was found, as stated. His death is attributed to heart disease.

Mr. Crone was married in this county to Miss Harriet J. Cohee who died about one year ago after they had resided in Kansas for twenty years. Subsequent to his wife's death he made his home with his daughter in Topeka until a few weeks ago when he took a room for himself. Mr. Crone was a citizen of Michigan township while residing in this county and took an active interest in political and public affairs. He was at one time trustee of Michigan township and is well remembered by all of the older residents of the county.

Alexander was a son of Robert Crone, and grandson of Robert Crone
