Aletha Le Nathan, died Friday, January 10, 2014 at Golden Living Center, Norfolk, Nebraska. Aletha was born January 14, 1928, to Henry and Rosetta (Zessin) Boysen on her parents farm Southwest of Madison, Nebraska.

Le was baptize at St. John Lutheran Church, Green Garden rural Madison, Nebraska and was confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church, Madison, Nebraska. Aletha attended Madison County District #35 School, Trinity Lutheran Parochial School and graduated from Madison (NE.) High School with the class of 1946. She was employed at Woodmen of The World Life Insurance Company, Omaha, Nebraska after graduating. Aletha married Wilbur Nathan on August 15, 1948, at St. John Lutheran Church, Green Garden, rural Madison, Nebraska. The couple farmed Southwest of Madison, Nebraska until moving to Fremont, Nebraska in 1987. Aletha was employed at Dodge County Memorial Hospital Home Health Care and the Kindler Establishment in Fremont, Nebraska until moving to Norfolk in 1995. She formerly was employed with Home Instead, Inc. of Norfolk, She volunteered many years at faith Regional Health Services, Norfolk, Nebraska. Aletha was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church, Norfolk, Nebraska.

Aletha is survived by: husband, Wilbur Nathan: son, James Nathan of Denver, Colorado and Jack (Susie) Nathan of Madison, Nebraska; grandson, Troy (Christine) Nathan; twin granddaughters, Tangie (Justin) Steinmiller, Tonya Nathan; great-grandson, Toby James Nathan, all of Colorado and a host of family and friends.

Aletha was preceded in death by: parents; brothers, Edwin and Hank Boysen and sisters, Lucile Boysen, Rosetta Boysen, LaVerna Ray, Loraine Deklotz, Eileen Hendricks.

Funeral services for Aletha "Le" Nathan were at 10:30 a.m., Monday, January 13, 2014 at Our Savior Lutheran Church, Norfolk, Nebraska. Reverends Lee Weander and Frank Brink officiated.

Burial was in Crown Hill Cemetery, Madison, Nebraska.
