He collapsed while on duty as a volunteer fireman at a apartment building fire at 68 Broadway in Ossining. At the time of his death he was employed by the Compagnie Parento Company in Croton. He served with the Army during WWI. I don't remember him but he was my godfather and my grand uncle. His death is also recorded in the records of St Paul's Episcopal Church in Ossining.
