Mr. Alcorn, a native of Cookeville, was the son of the late General and Josephine Alcorn, prominent citizens of Putnam County and Cookeville. He was a mortician and had called Arizona home for some years.
Survivors are his widow, Ruby Fair Alcorn; daughter, Mrs. William Bruce; five grandchildren, all of Phoenix; three sisters, Mrs. Charlie Gracey, Cookeville, Mrs. Fletcher Bly, Phoenix, AZ and Mrs. Fred Luck, Knoxville; brother, Robert H. Alcorn of Chattahoochee, FL.
