Funeral Mass for Aniceto Montano Garcia of 220 East Third was held at St. Ann Catholic Church at 8 a.m. Saturday the Rev. John Lauretti officiating. Burial was at 2 p.m. at Mountain View Cemetery under the direction of Mahaney's Funeral Home. Garcia died in El Paso Thursday morning.

Born April 17, 1905 in Garfield, Garcia had live here 55 years and in New Mexico all of his life. He was retired employe of the City of Deming having retired in early of this year.

Surviving are his wife Martha of the home; a son Arturo Garcia, Clovis; a daughter Amelia Elizalde, Deming; brothers Santiago Garcia, El Paso and Jose Garcia, Pueblo, Colo.; two sisters Josefa Gonzales and Juanita Trujillo both of Deming and five grandchildren.
