"Rhoda Burzell [Purcell] Sweeney.
Mrs. William Beil, 123 Maple avenue, received word this afternoon of the death of her sister, Mrs. Rhoda Burzell Sweeney of St. Paul. She died at noon today after an illness of one year.
She was born in Muscatine September 29, 1856. She lived here until September 9. 1884, when she was married to A. M. Sweeney of Bedford, Ia. Three children were born to this union.
She is survived by three sons, Guy of Centralia, Wash.; Laurence of Chicago, 111., and Randall Sweeney of St. Paul. Minn. Two sisters, Mrs. Louisa Pierson of California, and Mrs. William Beil of Muscatine, and one brother, James Burzell [Purcell] of Kansas City, Mo., also survive. Funeral services will be held from Greenwood chapel at 2:30 o'clock Monday afternoon. Burial will be made in Greenwood cemetery."
