GASTONlA ~ Billy Richard Bingham Sr. "Bill", 78, was a son of the late Sherman and Lilly Mae Smith Bingham. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dottie Bingham, step mother, Stella Bryant Bingham; two sons, Kevin and Eddie Bingham; one sister, Libby Mckinney and two brothers, J.R. Bingham and Jerry Bing-ham.
Bill grew up in Gastonia and served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was self employed in the TV repair business. He owned his own business for over 50 years, and met many friends through this business. He enjoyed camping, boating and playing golf, had his pilot license, was an avid deep sea fisherman and enjoyed taking his pontoon boat fishing at Santee Cooper. He loved his dogs. He was a successful businessman, and exceptional father, grandfather and brother and will be dearly missed by many.
Interment in Gaston Memorial Park in Gastonia.
