MRS. E. B. GREY Sen.
Mrs. Mary Grey of Dundalk, relict of the late Elias B. Grey, passed over to the silent majority on Tuesday, March 31st. The deceased had not been strong all winter and on Sunday last was stricken with paralysis, from which there was no hope of recovery. She was 73 years of age and was one of the first residents here. In fact her husband, who died 15 years ago, gave the village its name from Dundalk in Ireland, the place of his birth. Mrs. Mary Grey was also a native of Ireland. The funeral service was at St. James Anglican Church.
Parents were Robert Lowry and Elizabeth McGovern but it is not known where they are buried.
Mary Lowry and Elias B.Grey were married at Tecumseth, Ontario; and were married on May 12, 1847.( Information from Anglican Church Registers in Toronto, Ontario ).
