Her father was born in Ireland, John L. Sullivan , around 1845 and died at age 58. Her mother is his first wife Bridgit Mochler Sullivan who died in October 1897.
Her father died of "Dissipation" and I think his and his family's life was very sad and hard.
His second wife Mary Grosse is buried in St Mary's Lyceum cemetery in Pittsburgh. John ran a Nickelodeon and a bar. Richard Lawrence McNamara once told his daughter Rosie that John "had a brother who was in the British Army in Africa and was eaten by cannibals. Of course he must have been shot with a bow and arrow first."
There are more photos on her husband's page, I've hit a limit here.
