//rkt/May 28, 2016Motier Lafayette Julian was born in 1833 in Randolph County, NC. Family history has him listed as Lafayette. The Julian family ancestor who came to America from France in 1700 was Rene De St Julian. So Lafayette's name pays homage to the French history.
