Sheila was born July 13, 1958 in Wyandotte, Michigan, the daughter of Robert and Joyce (Shaw) Crandall. She was a member of the Honor Society and graduated with honors from Carlson High School in Gibraltar, Michigan in 1976. She then studied nursing and graduated from Monroe Community College in 1978 with a Registered Nursing degree. She married Russell Hahn on May 27, 1978. She was employed at Otsego Memorial Hospital for 27 years as a registered nurse and was exceptional at her God given care for anyone who was her patient.

Sheila loved and enjoyed her family, especially her granddaughters and she was great at anything she tried. This led to her love for embroidery, quilting, cooking and making clothes, blankets, etc. for people, especially her grandchildren.Sheila was a descendent of Mayflower passengers John and, Priscilla (Mullins) Alden, William Mullins, James Chilton, and daughter Mary Chilton.

Sheila was an outstanding wife, mother, daughter, sister and aunt. She was kind, gentle, and caring. She had a zeal for family gatherings. Those that knew Sheila Personally mention her caring heart. As her brother I know of nobody that has equaled her compassionate spirit and displayed such a fond remembrance of simple times as a child growing up in suburban Detroit. Sheila will be especially missed by her brothers and sisters who all realized her love for the family.
