Joyce was born and raised in Springfield Massachusetts where she met Robert. The two moved to Michigan in the 50's. Joyce was a wonderful mother and wife. She enjoyed gardening and cooking for her family often combining the two together to make wonderful dishes. She loved family get togethers and loved to put out a great spread of food and home made deserts. Joyce was a compassionate woman and never spoke crossly of anyone. She cared for her family and made that a priority in her life. Like many other mothers Joyce was the glue that held the family close together. Joyce is loving wife to Robert N. Crandall, daughter to Rebecca Stone and George Shaw, sister to George, Bobby, Elmer, Billy, and Cindy, mother to Clay, Kyle, Robin, and Sheila, and loving grandmother to Melanie, Jessica, Robert, and Anthony. Joyce has been and will continue to be missed dearly.
