Achey had gone to the farm of C. C. Kerslake, a neighbor, to borrow the tractor and had started for home. When he failed to return in a reasonable length of time a search was made and his body was found pinned beneath the tractor.
Mr. Achey was born in Cedar county, Feb. 17, 1900. Survivors include his widow, a son and a daughter, his mother, Mrs. Mary Achey of near Cedar Bluff, three brothers, John, Homer and Fred Achey, and a sister, Mrs. Oscar Nebergall. Funeral arrangements have not been completed.

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon in the Coon Creek church at 2 PM with the Rev. Arnold of Lisbon officiating. Burial will be in Woodbridge cemetery at Buchanan. McCormick
