Funeral services for Mrs. Oscar (Esther S.) Nebergall, 87, were held at the South Bethel church November 17 with the Rev. Warren Webb officiating. Burial was in the South Bethel
cemetery. Pallbearers were Owen Nebergall, Randy and Terry Bormann, John Achey Jr.,
Dwain Ford and John Barnum. Evelyn Nebergall was organist. Marcia Miller was vocalist.
Mrs. Nebergall died at Wilton Nursing home November 13.
The daughter of Frank and Mary Ehresman Achey, she was born in rural Cedar county
November 27, 1898 and attended the rural schools of that area. She was married to Oscar E. Nebergall at the Tipton Methodist parsonage June 15, 1927. She spent her life in the
South Bethel area where she was a member of the South Bethel church.
She is survived by 3 brothers, John and Homer Achey, Tipton and Fred Achey, Bennett; several nieces and nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews including Mrs. Sherman (Betty) Anderson, niece and Gary Anderson, Tipton and Fred Anderson, Florida, grandnephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband and 2 brothers.
