Myrna Farris was born on March 22, 1937, to Harvey and Geneal Parsons in Axtell, Utah. Myrna married Dave Farris on Sept. 6, 1959. They recently celebrated 54 years of marriage.
Myrna and Dave raised their five children in Anaconda and later moved to Wise River. Myrna loved the Big Hole Valley and the people that lived there.
Myrna worked as a "smelterman" at the Anaconda Smelter for 10 years up until its closure. She later tended bar at the Wise River Club and enjoyed her patrons. Myrna's next career was a licensed real estate agent and she enjoyed this up until retirement.
Myrna was an extraordinary woman of her time. She had an incredible spirit and was determined in her endeavors. We will miss her laugh, her quick wit and her twinkling blue eyes. She loved her family and friends and enjoyed her afternoons playing Keno.
Myrna is survived by her husband Dave; children, Randy (Stori) Farris, Vicky (Jim) Bjornemo, Laura Delekta, Michelle Farris and Bill (Carol) Farris. She also has 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A special heart-filled thank you to Shelly Allison and the Marquis staff for your dedication and care.
