Roger E. Parsons 1934 ~ 2005 ROY, UT- Roger Eugene Parsons, 71, born April 25,
1934 in Axtell, Utah to Harvey Edward and Geneal Jensen Parsons. He was a hard
worker all his life, being employed as a boilermaker/ welder. He was a state
horseshoe champion. He loved art, golf, bowling, journal writing, cowboy
movies and The Price Is Right. He was a member of the LDS Church. He married
Evelyn Beth LaRocco, June 10, 1955 and, though they divorced in 1987, they
remained lifelong friends. He is survived by daughters, Marlene Parsons,
Nadine Jones, Debbie Dangerfield and Joan Gerdes; sons, Darren and Brian;
twelve grandchildren, sisters, Elma Gatzos, Myrna Ferris, Kathy Hinkle and
Sharon Orgill and a brother, Gerald. He was preceded in death by his parents
and a sister, Vivian Powell. Graveside services will be held Friday, June 10,
2005, 3 p.m. at the Midvale City Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of
Aaron's Mortuary & Crematory, 1600 Washington Blvd. Condolences may be
