OBIT:

Lincoln Thayer died at his home in Clifford, Sunday morning at ten o'clock. He was forty-three years old, and had lived near St. Louis Crossing all of his life. The funeral will take place from the Separate Baptist Church near St. Louis Crossing, Tuesday afternoon at one o'clock, conducted by Rev. E. K. Pond.

Burial will be in the Liberty Cemetery. He was a member of the Odd Fellows, K. of P. and Modern Woodmen lodges.

Mr. Thayer leaves a wife and seven children. Three sisters and four brothers survive him, they being Mrs. Mary Schockley, Mrs. Susan Mildran, Mrs. Corilla Banks, George Joshua, Will and Thomas Thayer, all of Indianapolis.

Mr. Thayer was a farmer by occupation which calling he followed all of his life. He was one of the best known citizens in that part of the county and was much respected.
