Roland A. Burgess, 67, died Sunday Jan 13, 2002, in Fort Pierce. A native of Fall River, Massachusetts, he lived in the Fort Pierce area for seven years. He moved here from Taunton, Massachusetts. He was a carpenter.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Olive M. Burgess of Gibsonton, Florida; five daughters, Carol Ann Kingsbury of Gibsonton, Jo-Ann Sherman, Lujean Corrado of Apollo Beach, Florida, Alice Rivenburgh of Fort Pierce and Ellen Miller of Port St. Lucie; a son, Ronald Burgess of Taunton; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A service will be in Taunton. Arrangements are under the direction of Haisley-Hobbs Funeral Home, Fort Pierce.
