Middle name not determined.
Lovena was a daughter of Thomas James McMonigle (1807-1889) & Sarah Adlin Littell (1826-1878).
Lovena married John P. Tomlinson (1845-1927) on November 27, 1884 in Harrison County, Indiana. No children reported. Lovena was the second of two identified wives for John P. Tomlinson.
Lovena's obituary reports she was survived by a daughter. This is actually a step-daughter. There is no indication she had any children of her own.
Parent's surnames both incorrectly reported on her death certificate.
Lovena's name not shown in cemetery records as buried in the Palestine Cemetery even though her obituary and death certificate both report this cemetery. A volunteer photographer did not see any visible grave marker for her during a cemetery walk through. Until this problem is resolved, it is assumed she was buried in this cemetery. Her husband has a marked grave in the Palestine Methodist Church Cemetery.
