Veva Kelly was born in Norfolk, the daughter of Robert and Martha Jandreau DeShane on June 6, 1928. She married Robert Kelly on Aug. 23, 1952 in the Chipman rectory; he predeceased her on Nov. 28, 1994.
She is survived by a sister, Georgina Moody, Norfolk; a brother Alex Deshane, Knapp Station; and a brother Cecil (Ronnie) Deshane, Massena.
She died October 24, 2013 in the St. Regis Nursing Home.
She predeceased by brothers, Peter and Gerald.
Graveside prayers will be Tuesday, at 11 am at Winthrop Cemetery in Winthrop. Arrangements are entrusted to the Hammill Funeral Home in Winthrop.
