ALEXANDRIA (Special) — Funeral services for Mrs. Ann James Darden, 23, formerly of Columbia...were at 2 p.m. today in the First Baptist Church of Columbia with the Rev. Jimmie Bolton and John Gould officiating.
Burial was in the Welcome Home Cemetery in Grayson under the direction of Riser and Son Funeral Home of Columbia.
Mrs. James died at 1:10 a.m. Thursday in Alexandria Baptist Hospital here.
The woman's husband, Otis (Butch) Darden, was reported to be on his job at the time in Pineville.
Survivors include her husband; three sons, Otis (Butch) Darden Jr., John Darden and Deno Darden, all of Pineville; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter James, Columbia; a brother, Jackie James, Baton Rouge; and a sister, Mrs. Betty Ware, Birmingham, Ala.
