Services for Mrs. Mildred Faulks James, 70, of Monroe, were held Tuesday, July 13 in the chapel of Riser and Son Funeral Home of Columbia with the Rev. Lea Joyner officiating.
Burial followed in the Welcome Home Cemetery in Grayson.
Mrs. James died Monday, July 11 at her residence after a short illness.
She was a member of Southside Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Walter James of Monroe; a son, Jack James of Baton Rouge; a daughter, Mrs. Betty Roark of Raceland; a brother, Dyke Faulks of Vernon, Florida; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Grandsons served as pallbearers.
