Burial followed in the Welcome Home Cemetery in Grayson.
Mrs. James died Monday, July 11 at her residence after a short illness.
She was a member of Southside Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Walter James of Monroe; a son, Jack James of Baton Rouge; a daughter, Mrs. Betty Roark of Raceland; a brother, Dyke Faulks of Vernon, Florida; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Grandsons served as pallbearers.
