Mrs. Edward F. Fogarty passed away at her home last evening at 10 o'clock after a lingering illness of two years. She was born in St. James, Minnesota in the year 1872 and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Michels who came to this valley from Minnesota in the year of 1882. With her parents she travelled in a covered wagon from the Dalles, Oregon to the Kittitas Valley.
She was married on March 1, 1897 to Edward F. Fogarty who is well known in this valley through his association with the Morrison-Kleinberg Co. for the past 15 years.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her mother, Mrs. Margaret Michels, two daughters, Mrs. F. C. Parker of Corvallis, Oregon, Miss Lenore Fogarty and son, W. E. Fogarty of Ellensburg; five sisters: Mrs. M. Linder, Mrs. A. K. Uebelacker, Mrs. T. F. Meaghers, Miss Lena Michels, all of Ellensburg and Mrs. G. H. Beaver of Bellingham; five brothers: George, Frank, Henry, Peter of Ellensburg and J. J. Michels of Duluth, Minnesota also survive.
Funeral services will be held at the St. Andrew's Catholic Church at nine o'clock Monday morning. Prayers at the Honeycutt Funeral Parlors will be held at eight o'clock tonight.
