Alma M Robinson Cardwell 81 a former Portsmouth resident died TuesdayJune 1, 1993 in Beavercreek. Born January 30, 1912 in Lyra a daughterof the late Jesse L & Fanny May Rose Robinson she was a retiredsecretary of Scioto Memorial Hospital & a member of the FranklinAvenue United Methodist Church & Portsmouth Order of Eastern Star.Preceded indeath October 15, 1985 by her husband Ralph E. "Pete" Cardwell whom she married in 1941. She is survived by a son Gerald L Cardwell of Bellbrook, 3 brothers Elmer H. Robinson of South Webster & Omar Robinson of Show Low, Arizona. 2 sisters Bessie Mae Vipperman of Detroit, Michigan & Hazel Cook of South Webster, & 2 grandchildren.She also was preceded in death by 3 brothers Carl, Ralph Galen & Clarence Robinson, & a sister Nellie Bandy. Graveside services will beheld at 2:30 p.m. Friday at South Webster Cemetery with the Rev.Thomas L. Weeks officiating. Friends may call at Ralph F. Scott Funeral Home in Portsmouth from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday.
