Jesse Leroy Robinson 75 a retired farmer died Saturday at 3:45 p.m. at his home at Lyra Wheelersburg Rt. 2. He had been in ill health for 2 weeks. Born 6/16/1876 at Asheville, Oh. He was the son of John & Mary Robinson. His wife the former Fannie May Rose preceded him in death. Surviving are these children Clarence of Dayton, Omar J of Cleveland, Mrs. Alma Cardwell of Portsmouth, Carl Robinson & Mrs. Hazel Cook of Wheelersburg Rt. 2, Nellie Robinson at home, Mrs. Bessie Mae Vipperman, Lincoln Park Michigan, & Elmer Robinson of Dearborn, Michigan. Mr. Robinson also leaves 2 brothers Charles of Laurelville, Ohio, Edward of McArthur, 3 sisters Mrs. Clarissa Huffine & Susie Nupp of Logan, & Mrs. Anna Sherman of St. Louis Missouri. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Antioch Baptist Church at Lyra with Rev. John Kemper & Rev. Dave Widdig officiating. Burial in Vernon Cemetery will be under the direction of D. W. Davis Funeral Home. Friends may call at the residence until the funeral hour.
