Mrs. Belle Cooke, wife of M. D. Cooke of East Kittitas, who has been seriously ill for a number of weeks, passed away Tuesday afternoon at 2 p.m. Word had been sent to her aged mother Mrs. Fulton, of the Methow Valley, who arrived half an hour after the grim reaper had entered the home of her daughter.
The deceased leaves a husband and six children; fours boys and two girls to mourn her departure besides an aged mother, three sisters, and three brothers. The funeral took place this afternoon at 1:30 from the M. E. Church, Rev. W. M. Kenney delivering the discourse.
