Survived by wife, step-father, children, step-children, brother and sister.
Mr. Carter went to collect rental income and never returned home; two brothers who were renters were captured and arrested for his death.
His service was held at The St Andrews United Methodist Church in Orangeburg, SC with Rev David Caughman.
