Violet Astrope, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C.E. Astrope, living on the reservation fifteen miles northwest of Froid, died at a Williston hospital on Thursday of last week, cause of death being due to erysipales and gangrene.
The remains were brought to Culbertson and funeral services were held there last Sunday, interment being made at that place. The Astrope family is well known throughout the reservation and much sympathy is expressed for them in their bereavement.
The little girl was 13 years, 10 months and 11 days old at the time of her death.
