"Mr. Albert was born July 26, 1916, in Decatur, the son of John and Nora Diss Albert Sr. He had resided in Sacramento for 33 years and was the former owner of Mr. A's Home Repair Service and was retired from Sacramento Army Depot. He was a member for more than 50 years of Trueblood United Methodist Church of Decatur and was an Army veteran of World War II and the Korean conflict. He enjoyed volunteering, helping serve lunch at the Senior Lunch Program and playing in the Pinochle Group at Fruitridge Community Center in California.

"He was the loving husband of Juanita E. Greer whom he married in 1937, in Decatur, and she survives. . . . . Also survived by brothers and sisters, Mildred Atteberry, Jack Albert, Maude Smith, Leonard Albert and Alice Inman, all of Decatur. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Clarence Albert, Decatur, and Mason Albert, Twain Harte, Calif."
