Ovella Hackler, 90, of Speedwell, Va., and formerly of Comers Rock, passed away Sunday, June 17, 2001.

Funeral service Tuesday at 2 p.m. in Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home Chapel, Independence. Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:30 p.m. until time for the service.
