Charles Woodrow Campbell
Charles Woodrow Campbell of Hinsdale died Saturday, Dec. 17, at King-Bruwaert House in Burr Ridge.
Mr. Campbell, 90, was born Feb. 18, 1915, in Chesterville. He was the oldest member of Edgewood Valley Country Club in Willow Springs and a 60-year Mason.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Dorothy Fortney and Hazel and Juanita Campbell.
Mr. Campbell is survived by his wife of 51 years, Mary, nee McCaffery; his daughter, Michelle (Chris) Gangemi Jr.; his grandsons, Chris and Michael; his sisters, Ruth (Robert) Holaday, Maxine David and Lenore O'Laughlin; and his many nieces and nephews.
A funeral was held Tuesday, Dec. 20, at Shrader Funeral Home in Arcola. Interment was at Arcola Township Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 4709 Golf Road, Suite 1015, Skokie, IL 60076.
Arrangements were made by Gibbons Elliston Funeral Home in Hinsdale.
