RITES WEDNESDAY FOR MRS. MARY SULLIVAN, 78

Mrs. Mary Sullivan, 78, a resident of Tomahawk for 38 years, passed away at 9 a.m. Sunday at Pine Crest.

The deceased was born December 16, 1882, in Wausau to David and Katherine Hopkins Barden. She came to Tomahawk in 1924 from Brokaw and taught for a time at the Mitchell school.

She was married on May 26, 1909 to Thomas M. Sullivan who passed away in 1934. She was also preceded in death by her parents, a daughter and a son.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Virgil (Catherine) Alber, Tomahawk; Mrs. Robert (Charlotte) Lange, Merrill and Mrs. Herman (Rose) Sherfinski, Muskegon, Mich.; a son, Lawrence, Milwaukee; a brother, David, Boulder Junction; three sisters, Mrs. Frank Van Slate, Merrill; Mrs. Kate Lambrecht, Schofield and Mrs. Joseph Barney, Merrill; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Friends of the family may call to pay their respects at the Nick and Sons funeral home, Tomahawk from 1 p.m. Tuesday until the hour of services which will be held Wednesday at 9 a.m. at the funeral home and at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic church. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery. Rosary will be at the funeral home Tuesday at 8 p.m.
