Lillian was the daughter of Henry Harkey and his first wife Sarah. She married James Edward Reed in Cooke County on June 26,1898. She died on November 6, 1949 in Floyd County, Tx. Just 8 days later her husband, James, died. They are buried side by side near her father Henry. They each just have concrete markers for headstones. Their children were: Margaret Edna, Joseph William, Cecil Raymond, Nora Bell, Gracie, Alfonzo and Durward Eugene Reed. She was the sister of Ida Bell Harkey Adams.
