ROY M. HOUSER, 75, of 25 Glenside Ave., Hagerstown, died Thursday morning at Washington County Hospital after a short illness.

He was born near Sharpsburg, the son of Robert Lee and Rena Alice Wise Houser. He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church.

He had been employed with Fairchild Industries for 20 years. He retired in 1961.

He is survived by his wife, Anna Buryl Fleet Houser; seven daughters, Mrs. Mildred C. Heiberger, Mrs. Helen L. Miles and Mrs. Carolyn J. Socks, all of Hagerstown; Mrs. Doris J. Miller, Big Pool; Mrs. Bernice M. Lafferty, Williamsport; Mrs. Elaine Griffith, Rt. 1, Boonsboro; and Mrs. Phyllis A. Hall, Petersburg, Va.; one son, David N. Houser, Clear Spring; three step-sons, Paige P. Piper, North Bay, NY; Daniel E. Piper, Gerrardstown, W. Va.; and Jacob F. Piper, Marlowe, W. Va.; 20 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 11:30 am on Saturday at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Robert E. Mohr officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Williamsport.
